September 4th - Sypes Canyon (2nd attempt)

DATE:  September 4th, 2013
TIME:  6:00pm
TRAIL:  Sypes Canyon
We attempted to do Sypes Canyon in July, but it got rained out. So, we are trying it again this week. Sypes Canyon is a fairly steep trail. We'll take our time on the way in (which will be all uphill), but then we will be rewarded with some great views and a fun, quick ride back out. Check out the GPS from last year (ignore the road section).

Chestnut was AMAZING! It rained just a few hours prior to the ride, and we were nervous whether it would rain again or that the trail could be muddy... but it was perfect. The temperature was cool (which was perfect for that climb); the trail was tacky, but not muddy; and the sunset was absolutely incredible. As a bonus, it still seemed light out to the human eye when we got back to the trailhead.

Take a moment to take in the sunset over Bozeman and realize how amazing Mountain Biking in Bozeman can be.
