Welcome to Team Muleterro

We are MULES. Montana's Ultimate Leaders of Endurance Sports.

Team Muleterro is a bike team in Bozeman, Montana. We love to bike! You'll see us at all sorts of races, especially Mountain Bike, Cyclocross, BMX, Triathlons and even some Road races. We're the loud, fast, high kicking group that is having more fun than everyone else. After all... that's why we do it - it's FUN!

Even more photos from the Race!

We've just added even more photos from the race to our Flickr account... and these photos are much better quality!  I'm sure it is just the camera that made these so much nicer (Ha ha!!  It's obvious it the photographer!!)

Feel free to go to our MuleX - 2017 Album to see all photos.  Or if you just want to see the new photos from Alizabeth Bronsdon, you can just view the photos tagged with Alibeemt.  By the way, if you like one of the new photos and would like one that doesn't have a watermark, you just need to email Alizabeth.

A huge thanks to Ali for taking (and sharing) these pictures!!

Thanks You Crazy Bike People!

When Team Muleterro and Team GAS get together, it is a fun time no matter what the weather does!  Thanks to everyone who came out to our super-snowy cyclocross bike race this year!  It is crazy to see the difference in weather between 2016 and 2017 (just check out our photos on flickr).  While it might have been snowy (and then muddy by the end), we had such a great time.  No matter if you raced, helped organize the race or just spectated - THANK YOU for joining us!  We hope you had as much fun as we did.  What can we say... crazy is contagious!  Cheers!

Mule/Gas Cross is ON

Sure, it is snowy... but that doesn't stop crazy bikers from having fun!!  The race for tomorrow is still on!  The course is set up and we'll be there (you'll see us over by the fire, drinking warm coffee from Ghost Town)!

September 18th - Middle Cottonwood

THIS WEEK'S PLAN:

DATE:  September 18th, 2013
TIME:  6:00pm
TRAIL:  Middle Cottonwood
Middle Cottonwood is another great out-and-back trail in the Bridgers. Similar to the other surrounding trails in the Bridgers... on the way in it will be all uphill. Then on the way out, it is an all-down-hill-treat! Checkout the GPS of Middle Cottonwood.

September 11th - Stone Creek

THIS WEEK'S PLAN:

DATE:  September 11th, 2013
TIME:  6:00pm
TRAIL:  Stone Creek
Stone Creek is part of the famed Bangtail Trail. We will ride just a portion of it as an out-and-back. Similar to the past few weeks, it will be all uphill on the way in, and then all downhill on the way back out. The trail really isn't too steep, and is considerably easier to ride than Sypes Canyon. It does seem like an endless amount of switchbacks... but then again, that's why it isn't so steep!

September 4th - Sypes Canyon (2nd attempt)

THIS WEEK'S PLAN:

DATE:  September 4th, 2013
TIME:  6:00pm
TRAIL:  Sypes Canyon
We attempted to do Sypes Canyon in July, but it got rained out. So, we are trying it again this week. Sypes Canyon is a fairly steep trail. We'll take our time on the way in (which will be all uphill), but then we will be rewarded with some great views and a fun, quick ride back out. Check out the GPS from last year (ignore the road section).

August 28th - Chestnut

THIS WEEK'S PLAN:

DATE:  August 28th, 2013
TIME:  6:00pm
TRAIL:  Chestnut
Chestnut is a nice trail that is all uphill on the way in, and then all downhill on the way back out.  Most of it is rideable, but there may be a steep spot or two where you have to hike-a-bike. While the Chestnut trail is fairly long and steep, it is not technical and is a great ride for all levels of bikers.  It is about 5 miles from the trailhead to the top of Chestnut Mountain, although with it getting darker earlier, we will likely turn around sooner.
