Welcome to Team Muleterro

We are MULES. Montana's Ultimate Leaders of Endurance Sports.

Team Muleterro is a bike team in Bozeman, Montana. We love to bike! You'll see us at all sorts of races, especially Mountain Bike, Cyclocross, BMX, Triathlons and even some Road races. We're the loud, fast, high kicking group that is having more fun than everyone else. After all... that's why we do it - it's FUN!

Even more photos from the Race!

We've just added even more photos from the race to our Flickr account... and these photos are much better quality!  I'm sure it is just the camera that made these so much nicer (Ha ha!!  It's obvious it the photographer!!)

Feel free to go to our MuleX - 2017 Album to see all photos.  Or if you just want to see the new photos from Alizabeth Bronsdon, you can just view the photos tagged with Alibeemt.  By the way, if you like one of the new photos and would like one that doesn't have a watermark, you just need to email Alizabeth.

A huge thanks to Ali for taking (and sharing) these pictures!!

Thanks You Crazy Bike People!

When Team Muleterro and Team GAS get together, it is a fun time no matter what the weather does!  Thanks to everyone who came out to our super-snowy cyclocross bike race this year!  It is crazy to see the difference in weather between 2016 and 2017 (just check out our photos on flickr).  While it might have been snowy (and then muddy by the end), we had such a great time.  No matter if you raced, helped organize the race or just spectated - THANK YOU for joining us!  We hope you had as much fun as we did.  What can we say... crazy is contagious!  Cheers!

Our cyclocross race started snowy, but got muddy by the end
Look at this laughing group - cyclocross in the snow is fun!
Mule X 2017 turned out to be beautiful!
We hear it a lot: "A group of drinkers with a biking problem"
What a great group of crazy people who love bikes!

See more photos on our flickr account.

Mule/Gas Cross is ON

Sure, it is snowy... but that doesn't stop crazy bikers from having fun!!  The race for tomorrow is still on!  The course is set up and we'll be there (you'll see us over by the fire, drinking warm coffee from Ghost Town)!

July 10th - Shafthouse

THIS WEEK'S PLAN:

DATE:  July 10th, 2013
TIME:  6:00pm  (that's leaving by 6pm, so please show up a little early... especially for this ride!!)
TRAIL:  Shafthouse
Shafthouse can be done as an "out-and-back" or as a loop.  More than likely we will just do the out-and-back, but we can vote on Wednesday if lots of you want to do the loop version.  It is all uphill on the way in, and then all downhill on the way out.  It is considered to be technical due to some of the rocky sections. It is certainly one of the popular rides in the area for a good reason - the views are amazing and the ride is tons of fun! Check out the GPS from last year.

July 3rd - Truman Gulch

THIS WEEK'S PLAN:

DATE:  July 3rd, 2013
TIME:  6:00pm  (that's leaving by 6pm, so please show up a little early)
TRAIL:  Truman Gulch
Truman is an "in-and-out" that is pretty short, but fairly steep.  So, it will seem to take a while on the way in, but when you turn around, it goes quick!  Check out the GPS from last year.

June 26th - Garnet

THIS WEEK'S PLAN:

DATE:  June 26th, 2013
TIME:  6:00pm  (that's leaving by 6pm, so please show up a little early)
TRAIL:  Garnet
The trail itself isn't too technical, but since there is a section at the top that is along a fairly steep slope, it get's a reputation of being "technical."  It does take a little time to drive up to Garnet, so we'll be leaving at 6:00pm sharp.  We will most likely shuttle this ride.  Check out the GPS from last year.

LAST WEEK RECAP:

June 19th - Moser Creek (Ray's Loop)

I was a little nervous about the weather last week... but we lucked out again!  It was a beautiful evening.

GPS:  Here's the GPS from Bracket Creek.
PICTURES: Below are a few of my favorite photos from last week... but be sure the check out all the RHR Bracket Creek photos.

Jo smiles big at the awesome view, pretty flowers, and the fact that he's on a bike! Bill and Jordan cruise up the Bracket trail
Checking out the view at the top of the ridge... are we lucky to live in Montana or what?!

June 12th - Bracket Creek to Grassy

The first "Wednesday Night Ride" of 2013 went great!  We had a good turn out, good weather, and thanks to Andy's suggestion --we went up Goose Creek.  The trail was a blast.  A few people did complain about soar cheek muscles.  You couldn't help smiling the whole way down!

Round House Ride - Goose Creek

Ok, on to this week:

See you June 5th!

It's true - we've officially announced the first "Round House Ride / Wednesday Night Ride" for 2013.  We'll meet in the Round House parking lot on Wednesday, June 5th.  Just as last year, we'll carpool to the trail head - so please arrive a little early so we can load up bikes and be ready to head out at 6:00pm.

DATE:  June 5th, 2013
TIME:  6:00pm  (that's leaving by 6pm, so please show up a little early)
TRAIL:  TBD  (Since this is the first ride of the year, we'll need to quickly vote on where to ride - so at 5:55pm we'll take a quick vote before we leave.)
PICTURES:  Need a little reminder of how much fun we had in 2012?  Check out these Photos:
